Hike across the beautiful Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains

Start at Horseshoe Meadows at Cottonwood Lakes

Finish on the western slope of the Sierras at Mineral King

Hike Big Whitney Meadow, Upper Rock Cr Lake & along the Kern River

Visit excellent trout fishing spots

Total hike 59 miles over 6-8 days

Hike is open to all senior scouts (14+) with prior

backpack experience and who participate in 

conditioning hikes during the year
